I can’t resist books.
Feeling them, holding them, smelling them, reading them, staring at them…
These books are not just my to-read pile, however. In an ideal world, they would be my entire to-do list.

I am a bit of a Kindle fan (after all, great place to keep Dickens and Tolstoy) BUT nothing beats a real book…and a really good bookshop!
I resisted electronic books for a looooong time… but I’ve now read plenty of books via tablet/phone/laptop. However, there’s something about holding a book in my hands that makes reading romantic and passionate and alluring – all before I’ve read the first word. Maybe its just me (and my tendency to read in bubble baths), but I have to agree: nothing beats a real book. And there are few things I find more seductive than a good bookshop. :)
